Welcome to ePlan Review. We have streamlined our Standard Naming Conventions for ePlan. Prior to uploading supporting documents for permit applications, you must name the PDF according to the City’s Standard Naming Convention.

It’s a simple file naming formula:

1. Choose a Discipline + 2. Add a Document Number ( Dashes are optional).

For example, Architectural Drawings would be named: A (for Discipline: Architecture) + a Number for each individual drawing sheet. 5 PDF drawings would be named: A1.pdf or A-1.pdf (and A-2.pdf, A-3.pdf, A-4.pdf, A-5.pdf; sequential order from 1, 2, 3, 4 etc. for each page).

Download the Naming Conventions: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JQe2…

In a few weeks, the naming conventions will be available from our main City website: www.miamigov.com (search: Naming and choose Standard Naming Conventions page).

City of Miami’s Enterprise Program Management (EPM) team is excited to share this new educational video with our residents and businesses. The City of Miami strives to be a Service City, and we are continuously improving our services.
