Charles joined the Mercury Permits team in 2021, after having spent the previous sixteen years in the construction document printing industry. He is learning all aspects of the permitting process, and how to successfully navigate the jurisdictional waters. Charles is a San Antonio native, and spends his free time working as a sound engineer at the ABGB, brewing beer, doing graphic design for bands, cooking, practicing photography, and traveling. At his home in South Austin, Charles is surrounded by his wife and a menagerie of pets…an African grey parrot named Jarobie, a chonky cat named Dr Taco, a chihuahua mix named June, a pug named Roscoe (Uncle Puggeh), and a golden retriever named Tugboat. Together, they can often be spotted enjoying nature and exploring the Hill Country surrounding the Austin area.
